April 20-21, 2017 in Moscow, the annual XIX International Scientific Conference «Ilyenkov Readings» - «E.V. Ilyenkov and the problem of man in the revolutionary era». Researcher of the Center for the History and Cultural Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Irina Tatarovskaya spoke at the section ケ5 «Dialectics of creativity: philosophy-morality-art» with the report «Ontological status of the soul in ancient Greek philosophy and the problem of the epistemological opposition of the object and subject». More than 100 people from different cities of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, as well as from Germany, Canada, Finland and Poland took part in the Ilyenkov Readings. The organizers of the conference were the Modern Humanitarian Academy, the Philosophical Society «Dialectics and Culture», the Social and Political Journal «Alternatives» and the Eastern Branch of the Kazakhstan Philosophical Congress. A large number of reports in plenary sessions and in sections were devoted to the discussion of the causes, driving forces and consequences of the social counter-revolution that occurred in most countries of the world in the 1990s.
