On October 23-25, 2025, the VII Firsova Readings were held at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba (RUDN University). Nadezhda Khokholkova, a Senior Research Fellow, took part in this international scientific and practical conference.

On October 16-17, 2025, the International academic conference "Russia between East and West: Civilizational Confrontation or Dialogue?", organized by the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held in Moscow.

Senior Researcher of the Center for History and Cultural Anthropology Evgenii Morozov spoke at the XXI International Congress "Blishchenko Readings": "International Law - a Means of Ensuring Peace and Trust at the Peoples" in the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The event was attended by about 400 specialists in the field of international law from Russia and 30 foreign countries.

On April 2, 2025, during the “Culture and Society” at the Center for History and Cultural Anthropology, Dr. Nadezhda Khokholkova and Ms. Oxana Ivanchenko delivered a presentation titled “Tanzanian National Identity Symbols: Findings from the 2024 Field Research".

The 3rd International Conference on Business Management and Economic Development (ICBMED) took place in Arusha, Tanzania from November 7 to 9, 2024. This event was organized by the Tanzania Institute of Accounting, which operates under the Ministry of Finance and collaborates with the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

On September 17, 2024, Oxana Ivanchenkon has presented a report “Formation of the Tanzanian nation in the conditions of ethnoracial stratification: field study results” in the frames of scientific seminar “Culture and Society”. The report was based on the field research conducted in Tanzania in November 2023 (Russian Science Foundation grant No. 23-18-01091), during the study 33 interviews were carried out in Dar es Salaam and Bagamoyo cities.
