On July 23, 2020 the members of the Center of History and Cultural Anthropology of the Institute for African Studies took part in the 16th EASA Biennial Conference “EASA2020: New anthropological horizons in and beyond Europe”.
Over the course of the panel “Africa and the Changing World of the Twenty-First Century: Research Horizons Beyond the Europe-Africa Relationship,” presentations were made by Corresponding Member of the RAS, Dr. Sc.(Hist), prof. Dmitry M. Bondarenko (“Globalization, Postcolonialism and the Truth Faith: Orthodox Old Believers in Uganda and Spiritual Anti-Globalism in Contemporary Africa”), Senior Research Fellow, Dr. Nadezhda E. Khokholkova (“Historical Memory of European Colonialism in Contemporary Tanzania”); Senior Research Fellow, Dr. Veronica V. Usacheva (“India-Africa Relations in the Changing World: Solidarity Based Cooperation or Neocolonialism”).
