On March 30, 2016, Prof. Dmitri M. Bondarenko gave the paper titled "Create a Source for Yourself: Some Thoughts on Collecting and Processing of Field Evidence by Personal Experience of Fieldwork in Africa, Russia, and the USA" at the all-Russia Conference "Sources on History of Africa and African DIaspora", held by the Demidov Yaroslavl State University. The paper was prepared as a part of work on the Russian Foundation for Humanities grant project № 14-01-00070.
